I went to FL for vacation and a friend took my sister and I in this restaurant for Saturday night. I am a vegetarian and because they did not have any vegetarian options, I opted for a dish that has chicken. It came with a sweet sauce and I ask the waiter to substitute it for buffalo sauce and he replied " why don't you just ask for fried chicken" he did not come back and check on us for the whole night except to bring the checks, we could not even get drinks refill because he was no where. I would never go back to this place. The food was also expensive and not good.

The shaking beef is tough, undercooked and the sauce is watery. The chicken enchiladas have a small amount of chicken with gristle in it. Management makes excuses for why the food is disappointing.

I have been a very frequent (lunch 3 times a week and often dinner) guest at Grand Lux in Aventura, and to a lesser extent in Boca. I was extremely disappointed to find my favorite meal 'Crispy Ahi Sushi Roll' missing from the new menu on my last visit. I just don't understand why this item was removed - to so many people I know this was an absolute favorite! Gone was also my second favorite the 'goat cheese and mushrom pizza' - why remove two so popular meals. The menu has shrunk and of the few new meals, three are based on 'sausage'! I will not be eating as often at Grand Lux in the furtre!

Cool vibe. Nice variety menu to please most people. It can get very busy and the bathrooms do not accomodate the number of people in the restaurant. Asian Nachos are the best menu item.

I had the most outstanding dining experience at Grand Lux Cafe. The highlight was my server. The attention to detail was amazing. I have never had service like this in a restaurant. I blew my diet, but it was definitely worth it. fantastico!!!

If you like Cheesecake Factory you will definately like this place. Had their filet mignon and mashed potatoes and it was way way better in quality (aged, soft as butter and melts in your mouth even though well done, and much cheaper) than some of the popular steakhouses. Never had a bad meal here.
