Great Cuban Food that does not break the bank

I am Cuban, I know what Cuban food taste like, I thought that I had to travel to Miami in order to get my Cuban food fix, Guarapo's food in Boynton Beach is better other Miami restaurantsi, the Vaca Frits is to die for, the Lechon Asado is wonderful, my wife and I eat there a minimum of once per week or more. Really wonderful and the Best Cuban Restaurant in Palm Beach County..... Try it, you will like it!

    A taste from the islands!

My husband and I absolutely love Guarapo's Cuban Cuisine. The food, service and atmosphere are that one would receive on the islands-very loving and food filled with flavor! Highly recommend this place!

    Not recommended

As a Cuban I love to find places that I can eat a good home cooked meal. Well this was not the place. After sitting outside for 10 mins and no service I went inside to find that there was only two waiters. She finally came out and took our order but had no experience as a waiters. We order the chips and asked for more sauce and we got a look like we were asking too much...then we ask for salt and again the face of you kidding me I have to go back in and get you salt. The food had no flavor, the steak was not seasoned and the rice was hard like they had some from the day before and re heated for me. The plantains looked like they came out of a box of frozen plantains. My daughters steak was deep fried to a crisp it was like leather. We order dessert and should have been better after the entrees were so bad the desserts were bad too...the rice pudding must have come from costco and the natilla catalane was a white creamy substance that came out of a box. I am sorry to say this place is not what the other reviews said and we really need a good Cuban restaurant in the area. This one is not it....plus the service is poor.

    Delicious cuban sandwich!

I was there a few weeks ago and was very pleased! Their staff is extremely friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, and their Cuban sandwich is the best I have had in a long time!

    Excellent Cuban Delight!

This was out first time trying Guarapo's and we'll be back! We sat outside, could'a used a little more ambiance, but everything we tried was great! We live across the street and hoped it would be good as we awaited it's opening...we weren't disappointed!
