Could not find anything wrong!
We had dinner at Hogzillas 4 nights in a row, every night we ordered something else. The owner and his staff went out of their way to serve us and make us feel at home. By far my best and my first choice in Miami.

Amazing "upscale" southern comfort food
Waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. Great variety of unique beer. Food is just absolutely delicious. The menu offers both comfort BBQ as well as unique dishes found no where else. For our group (3 girls, 3 guys) we had a variety of appetizers and entrees and 2 desserts. My only complaint was dessert which I explain below. Here is my rating of what we ate: Appetizers: 1) Frito Pie: A must eat! Oozing with cheese and delicousness. Served in the frito bag. I will go back to the restaurant just for this appetizer. 2) Fried Green tomatoes: Good. Anything battered and fried is good. 3) Mac & cheese croquetas: Good. 4) Redneck Tacos: A must try!!! Best tacos I have ever eaten. The cornbread pancakes instead of tortillas make all the difference. We had them with the beer can chicken. They were juicy and so tasty. Entrees: 5) Hot Italian Beef brisket: One of the best beef sandwiches I have ever eaten. 6) Wild game Sausage: A must try. So tasty and unique and did not taste gamey at all. 7) Bucket of Fried chicken: Nothing special. It was good, but a chain chicken restaurant is just as yummy. Dont waste your time on this as an entree. 8) Baby back ribs: Delish! Meat falls off the bones and the sauce was sweet and yummy. Sides: 1) sweet potatio tater tots: If you like sweet potato, you will love these. Cant go wrong. 2) loaded idaho baked potato: Fair, nothing special. 3) spicy apple fennel coleslaw: Unique. Tangy. crisp but other sides were better. 4) collard and kale greens: WOW! so flavorful. A must try! 5) sweet onion rings: Very good, but not unique. You can get em anywhere. 5) All meals came with cheddar and jalepeno corn bread muffins which were yummy. Desserts: Here is the only category that was a huge disappointment. They didnt have the chocolate bacon cupcake which I wanted to try so badly. In fact they didnt have any of the desserts on the menu except the pecan pie which was not good and they had no ice cream for it. Marie Callenders frozen pecan pie is better. They also offered us an apple cobbler, which isnt even on the menu, but it didnt even get finished by the table of 6 because it had no flavor. My advice: fill up on appetizers and a good entree with a good side and then eat dessert elsewhere. Overall, I will definietly be going back to this place and recommending it to friends. The decor, waitstaff and food (except dessert) was top notch.

Whole suckling pig for Christmas!
I preordered the whole suckling pig for Christmas day. I was amazed they had everything ready Christmas morning ready to go the staff was so helpful and friendly. My family was amazed by the presentation of the whoe pig! And the flavor was amazing! It fed the whole family and leftovers! It was awesome! If you want to create a great family memory and not have to spend the whole holiday cooking this is a great way! Thanks hogzilla for a memorable Christmas!

Amazing
Went there on a very busy night where it took an hour to park. I was starving and in a terrible mood. Boy did that change! The first thing I noticed was just how nice and accommodating the wait staff was. They were extremely attentive, polite, and very very nice. At one point I started looking around the restaurant to get a look at the various eclectic and unique decorations and a server immediately approached me to see if I needed anything. That's unusual for Miami, and extremely unusual for South Beach. To start we had some of the best nachos I've ever had. I typically don't order nachos for a fancy dinner in a hip restaurant on South Beach, but I was seriously craving nachos for some reason. The chips, which were thick-cut potato chips instead of corn chips, were freshly made in-house and covered in a combination of nacho cheese, blue cheese and hard boiled egg crumbles. SO good! We ordered the redneck beer can chicken tacos (or something like that). I have to say they were amazing! Really incredibly delicious. In fact, my mouth is watering just thinking about them. I must go back. We also had the beer can chicken sandwich, which was succulent and delicious. The avocado adds a nice tasty touch and the thick cut white bread slices are reminiscent of what mom used to make. So hungry right now! We were so full gorging on the delicious food that we couldn't do dessert. Oh well, next time. This place is awesome. The service is phenomenal. The food is absolutely amazing. I am going back this weekend and I work nearby so I plan to make it a regular lunch spot.

Disappointed
Thought it would be better. The brisket was just ok, the half chicken didn't have a lot of meat on it but tasted good, the Idaho baked potato wasn't cooked enough, the corn bread should be sweeter, the corn on the cob should be cleaned from burnt leaves( it was just massy), the butter was too sweet, desserts were not appetizing. Twice as much as you would spend at BBQ chain and was still hungry when finished. Was really excited to finally have a BBQ place 2 blocks from home but would rather drive 30 min to another BBQ restaurant.
