Smug Indifference
The meal at the bar was great, but once dessert arrived, some hidden message passed among the servers that said, "This guy has ordered his last item, we can't make another cent off him, ignore him." And they did, wandering back and forth with no eye contact while my dessert sat un-touched since they hadn't provided a utensil. In some restaurants I've dined in, when servers screw up they make amends: "Sir, so sorry about that, we took your glass of wine off the bill." Not at Houston's, where their lofty place in the culinary food chain means that mortals like you and me have to put up with any mistakes they make. Good luck to Houston's in the off season when repeat business is important. They'll get none of it from me.

Best ribs
Our favorite place to bring out of towners for a real South Florida dining experience. Grab a table outside and watch the sailboats and yachts drift by as you enjoy a great meal. Our favorite is the ribs and french fries - a large platter of mouth-watering barbecue ribs to die for.

Consistently Excellent
Always a great meal. Great outdoor bar and table seating area. Menu standouts include:spinach dip, french dip, ribs, grilled fish of the day. Always a crowd, but worth waiting for a table
