    Very poor service

Been there a few times in the past. Service has never been their strong point. Food is usually good. Today I decided to stop in for a sake and some apps while I finished up some paperwork. 1 table of 2 patrons were outside. I sat down, waited 10 mins saw no server. I went inside to the bar which had 2 tenders and 3/4 patrons. I stood there for 5mins before anyone looked my way, also walked by 2 employees chatting on my short walk from door into the bar. At least 3 servers or kitchen help were at the other end of the bar chatting. Finally a bartender asked what I needed, I asked her if I needed to be seated outside or do I seat myself, she replied, oh just sit anywhere. I did so, again for about 12 minutes with no server in site. I took my business elsewhere. Sorry, hurricane alley, I.can understand when its crazy busy dinner time. But 4pm on monday ....few patrons and very very poor service.

Where to start... I was told that there is a 25 minute wait when I decided to walk in and check the bar and found a table with 2 chairs empty. the manager actually then said that we could sit there after about 5 minutes I decided to get up and get my own menus while poor waitress came over saying that our table had been saved for someone, we walked up to the manager together and he told her i was who was seated there (total lack of communication). I would have to say that their mixed drinks are very good but that's it. Should be called a bar so you don't have high expectations of there food. My pan seared scallops which was $25 were white and the last time i watched the Cooking Channel a pan seared scallop was supposed to be somewhat seared. The food was fresh but i think all of my string bean ends shoud've been broken off, not some. I'd rather none be cut if the prepper didn't want to cut all of them. I was only given one napkin and had to get up and get my own to get more. The food was fresh and the drinks were good but i won't go back or recommend,

    One of My Favs

I especially go here for the soft shell crab sandwich. Also love the fried oysters and great burgers. Homemade soups; really delicious esp. the cream of mushroom and seafood bisque, u can taste the sherry. I'm happy to live a 1/2 mile away and go often. Love the outdoor seating too. Only thing I ever had here that I wasn't fond of was the Caribbean sandwich(too much thyme). Even love the cole slaw with celery seed as it should have.

    Poor service last weekend!

The food was good, but the service wasn't. The server missed my sons order so I split my meal with him instead of waiting for them to prepare it. She also failed to serve my wife the salad that came with her meal. She put it in a "to go" box after it was brought to her attention. They could use some restaffing or retraining for the servers.

Great food. service needed a little help

The food we had at our table was amazing. The fish dip has to be the best in Florida . The conch fritters to die for, a little lemon and heaven on a plate. Then we shared a chicken special with a creamy parmesan sauce and a fish and chip cooked perfectly. The only problem I had was I didn't see my server enough. Someone else brought us our salad and soup, and then a different person brought us our drinks, and then a different person with our food. Would of liked my server to been more involved if you would with my table. But other than that I will definitely be back for more of that delicious food. I plan to try everything on the menu at least once. Thanks hurricane alley for the great food.

The raw oysters were warm; not ice cold!! very dangerous. the fried oysters looked like ravioli, with 90% breading & 10% hard tasteless rubber (oyster?); the waiter admitted they were long frozen! 5 5
