Meh
We went here because it was local, we won't go back again. The wait staff were definitely personable, but the food sunk it. Bland and nothing special - we make MUCH better Italian at home. Our Ceasar salad was halfway decent but it was definitely Sysco dressing. I'm trying to find something positive to say so: big portions. Regarding atmosphere, there was hardly anyone in there on a Friday night, which was our first clue something was probably wrong. 80's music on a DTV and the decor fit the music. Plenty of parking! Nice people but the food was blah.

The best all-around restaurant in So.FL
This is a truly superior restaurant. This is not fancy dining. It is a family run restaurant catering to the "locals." The food is absolutely sensational. Their pastas are sublime. The best Jambalaya this side of New Orleans (which the chef only cooks on New Years Eve). The salads, chicken, fish and veal dishes are fresh and each dish has it's own special flavor and taste. The owners are personable and make it a pleasure to dine at their restaurant. It is basically a "locals" place and you will see everyone who is anyone dining unobtrusively at this delightful restaurant. They don't seem to advertise so their following is pretty much word of mouth. I like being able to get a table without a reservation so I am trying to be conservative in my praise.
