J Alexander's Restaurant

The food was delicious and the service was impressive. All the servers worked together making sure everyone was enjoying their experience.

I went to J Alexander's in Palm Beach Gardens for dinner last night with 3 friends. I had done some research on line beforehand so I had an idea of what to expect. The restaurant is lovely if a bit dark. I was annoyed that although we had a confirmed resevation, we still waited almost 30 minutes for a table. I believe the wait was deliberate to force us into getting drinks at the bar. This suspicion was confirmed when we were walked through the half empty dining room to our table. Once we were seated, the service was competent if not unmemorable. At one point we were looking for our server. One of the hosts asked us who it was and we had no idea. We were trying to have a relaxing dinner with out of town friends we had not seen in some time and I felt rushed throughout the experience. My biggest complaint, however was the food. Everything had too much salt and there is no excuse for serving stone-cold food. I sent my entree back because it was so cold. and two of my dining companions did not eat their meals because of the salt content. One final observation. The 4 of us were drinking up drinks which are presented very nicely in chilled glasses with the remaining cocktail served in a glass beaker in a small ice bowl. Lovely. However, it took 3 waiters to serve us a round of drinks because they do not use trays. Strange. On the whole I thought the experience was overpriced, cold and salty. I will not be back and I will not reccommend the resaurant to my fellow foodies.

Such a great place to go for a special treat! The prime rib melts in your mouth and they have the best burger I have ever had. They have a wide array of food to fit most budgets. You can get a 20 dollar steak or a 10 dollar hamburger. The Cypress salad is an amazing salad for lunch. They come with these cornbread croutons that are to die for. Highly recommended!

I ordered salmon and asparagus it was flavorless, and you're only able to choose one side. I have received greater value and better tasting food at lower priced restaurants.

Boy was I surprised when after mentioning that it was my sister's 50th birthday celebration, they did not even bring her a sliver of cake. I do not mind paying a little extra, but the steaks were not that great! Really fatty for the price! Will not be making this a favorite place to visit! You know it is all about the little touches.

I've liked this rest. since I first went which was several months ago. I go to the one located in Plantation. My Server was phenomenal, she is friendly and professional. Not to mention she gave great recommendations. My Steak was great, my inlaws and wife enjoyed their meal as well. Yes, it may be pricey but not only am I spending it on the quality of the food but also the service that was provided.

I loved J Alexanders. The wait was crazy to get in 45-50 minutes. But it was worth it! Infront of us had a party of 22 people. So that should tell you something right away. That it was great! I ordered the Huevo rolls! Delicious! So filling and great. My friend got the steak and not so mac and cheese! He loved it and I had chicken fingers! Amazing food. The only thing is our server barely came by but the table next to us he was over there constatly asking if they needed something how their meal was and what not.But overall great food very expensive, loved it. My new favorite will be here & I will def be there for my new family event or birthday! Cant wait!
