Pretty good menu - nice meeting place
This is a large corporate restaurant chain, but keeps the feel of an upscale local place. the menu has some nice choices. The steaks are not the best choice. the pastas are very good. I always get the nacho appetizers - excellent spinach dip. My wife always get the chicken salad sandwich with orzo - and I have realized that this is their best dish. The broccoli and cornbread are great side dishes. Service is a little bit better than average - mostly FAU students work in the three restaurants in this plaza. they have a nice bar in the middle if you are social, or nice private booths.

Try another place
waitress had an attitude. Waited one hour to be served. Veggie burger tasted as if it had sugar in it and hamburgers were just average. Overpriced and not an enjoyable experience.

Omg wow best service steaks and seafood!!
I went into the j alexanders in boca raton, and this place was packed...I was thinking I'd sit at the bar with my wife and share some wine while we waited for our friends. The bartenders are kind and quick then shortly we were buzzed for our seats and were assisted with our wine to our table Manny took care of us and made sure we were comfortable with the specials that night we had the best filet mignon and enjoyed a second bottle of wine perfect ambiance perfect service perfect food !!!

Not Houstons!
Thisplace wants to be Houstons but sadly misses on every level. So many close calls but something just not there. Average at best. The atmosphere is great and tables are private . Value and service decent. Go but do not be expecting much.

Consistantly Good Food
Medium priced withlimited menu. Entrees..Salad selections that are a meal in itself. Reasonable pricing for food quality that is consistantlly better than average. Basic American meals... Chicken , Chops ,Mamburgers, Fish, etc.
