Jasmine Thai & Sushi

This place used to be great! I've frequented it through the years. Steadfastly holding on as it relocated... But sadly, I'm now looking elsewhere... Since the owner has relocated and tried to make it seem a more upscale, "trendy" place - it has completely lost it's unique charm; and sadly gained an unjustified increase in the bill! The cozy, intimate, quiet atmoshpere people tend to appreciate in quaint, lovely, Thai restaurants - does not exist at all here. It's a clattering, noisy, industrial type "fusion" environment where your party sits like standed islands in odd, open booths & various tables akimbo. Try to get a seating arrangement on the far wall - at least there you may get away from the clang & noise of the kitchen. There is no music except the hideous cacophony of aimless, annoying, "cafeteria" type noise - as it reverberates off the industrial ceiling. Regardless, even if you escape to a far table against the wall - you'll not escape the exorbitant bill! The portions are decent, and the food is good. But this can be found at a more reasonable price elsewhere. Sadly, that being said - no matter how good the food is - you're going to have to beg for that little pyramid of extra rice - which is horrible to wait for while your food gets cold! (& they seem to conveniently forget to bring it these days anyway) They used to come around with a beautiful silver serving bowl and offer to refill your rice choice; like every courteous, finer full service Thai restaurant I've ever dined in. It's an Asian full service restaurant - they should do this. You should never have to ask. And certainly never feel as though you're imposing on them for doing so. The prices are much too expensive now, and certainly do not support the changes. ...and good luck begging for a'lil more rice to go with your table's (by then cold) overpriced curry...

The best Thai and Japanese restaurant in town. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, clean environment....just wish there was a bigger parking lot and more tables as this place gets jammed during dinner hours on the weekend! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

My family and I frequent this place all the time. The sushi is fresh, the small plates are delish and the main courses are amazing. A few of my favorite things - crab Rangoon, Miami Roll, Salmon rolls, Kobe Beef, Yum. Love

We are new to the area and decided to try the sushi at Jasmine. The food was spectacular! The sushi was so fresh and they have so many different kinds of rolls to try. The waitress who took our order was very helpful and recommended the "Tuna Stack" off the Specials menu. It was amazing! We can't wait to go back again and try their Thai food!! What a great find:)

I am a woman who eats out alone a lot. I know and love good Thai food. The owner recommended the lobster pad thai, and when it came, the presentation was beautiful. But the large lobster tail was so tough that I could hardly chew it. And it was the first time I've ever had a lobster tail with that fishy an odor. I stopped at one bite of that and then tried the pad thai. I asked for the spiciness between mild and medium and got a pad thai with absolutely no spices-it was bland. I took one bite, asked to see the owner, requested the dinner be removed from my bill and would not go back there ever!

We were looking for a sushi restaurant and decided to try Jasmine. The sushi is pretty good (not as good as NY but good for South Florida standards where we don't see the variety of sushi we see in NY). I also love the Thai dishes, especially the ones that have shrimp. This is a very enjoyable restaurant and come highly recommended. They also have early birds, but the choices are better on the regular menu!
