    Good find

Staying at the st. Regis for the weekend from Montreal (the best bagels and smoked meat Iin the world). Concierge recomended this deli for breakfast. We had the smoked black cod on a bagel (solid bagel) they cured and smoked the cod themselves, buttery, smokey and spiced with paprika the dish was excellent. Fresh oj. Veggie juice. And a matzo ball soup. 30 bucks for a great meal Is rare in miami. will recomend highly to anyone.

Everyone in Miami needs to come eat here!

Miami in my opinion is a place where you would think you can find good food and are greatly disappointed by what you find instead. This place, however, balances that out! I had the s'mores pancakes (I am a huge pancake person, these are the best I've ever had). My boyfriend had scrambled eggs with pastrami and peppers and a latka. We also both had homemade bagles that tasted like pure heaven. This place is absolutely awesome! Incredible food and very friendly service. I'm now going to make this my weekly breakfast spot!

    Not Good

Work in the area craving good Jewish food considering my location. Begals are sub par. There are better places in North Miami area. Doughy, soft like wonder bread, no begal flavor. I ordered lakas...I wish I could post a picture - literally black crumbling apart when you bite into them. Save your money, or order elsewhere if it's delivery you're looking for.

    Breakfast

So few places to grab a solid breakfast... Odd that u can find one in surfside. The bagels here are solid, I tried the smoked salmon. My boyfriend had the eggs which he liked. All around a good place to eat. The server was personable and the place is clean. For under 18 bucks...

    Reuban

Given how most reviews are filled with hyperbole i feel no shame in saying Josh makes the best reuban sandwich in miami. They didnt change the place much from the previous spot so it looks "weird" for a deli but how many delis do you go to for the atmosphere anyway? my suggestion is to sit at the bar say hello, order a black cherry and a reuban with corned beef or turkey and talk to the owner while he makes your lunch.

    Not kosher

The place is small the owner works by himself alot of the time so the service can be spotty and the hours are not 100% consistent. All meats and fish are cured in house and are top notch. Try the tongue if you are adventurous try the turkey if you are not, both are excellent. Pastrami is a little bit sweeter than what you might expect but has so much flavor that it still places in the top five i have ever eaten in my life. Chopped liver and potato latkas are also made from scratch, all in all nothing is disappointing, most very good to excellent.
