Great food, great service
Took my girlfriend to Kobe Steak House during a weekend trip to watch USF play UM and we had a wonderful meal served by a wonderful staff. The food was delicious and the chef was very interactive and entertaining. He didn't give me my extra order of fried rice but the hostess realized it and removed it from the bill. The overall experience was great and I wish the shrimp and scallops I make were as delicious as it was at Kobe's!

Overpriced!
Food was ok but the place was wayyyy overpriced. I went with my girlfriend to try out a place we haven't been to and boy were we disappointed. I ordered the terayiki tuna and she ordered sushi. To drink I had a Japanese beer and she had a coke. With 15% tip we always leave it totaled to $87!! Not to mention we had the worker at the bar staring at us the entire time; I almost asked him if he wanted to join us. The quality of the food was average. Tuna was fresh and well prepared but the terayiki sause they use was a little plain. I personally prefer a sweeter one. Overall, out of 10 I give this place a 4. My girlfried and I do not expect to go back..... Try Sushi Maki located in Coral Gables as an alternative. They have better food at more reasonable prices. :-)
