La Carreta Restaurant

My family, including myself, have been customers of La Carreta for about 10 years. As always, there have been good and bad days. But the good food and service always prevails. The restaurant is clean and accomodating, and we always have a great time. That includes the especial orders of Thanksgiving and Christmass. Thanks!

We order, all went fast and delicious, I will be back and order more, I order a fish (pargo ) great and my wife camarones enchilados deliciosoooooo

A group of 4 couples went to this restaurant after the Latin Jazz Festival. 2 of the couples were from out of town, and wanted to have some hot chocolate and churros, and a few of us wanted to have something to eat. First, we asked how many churros were in a portion, so we would know how many portions we needed to order, and we were told 5. We ordered 6 hot chocolates, 7 orders of churros, one of us asked for a Media Noche sandwich without pork and I ordered a caldo gallego. First the hot chocolate they served us was a cup of warm milk (not hot it did not even dilute the chocolate) and a bag of powder chocolate, the media noche came with pork, my caldo gallego was not hot and without any bread to accompany it and the churros came 4 per serving. This is not what one should expect out of this restaurant. All of us were very disappointed and we heard other customers outside having similar complaints.

I prefer this location to the other locations because the service is great and they are not obnoxious if you just want dessert and coffee. No matter how busy or slow, the staff are friendly and polite.
