We are spoiled by the memory of our grandmother's Cuban cooking. The food here is the closest we have come to the traditional and delicious meals she made, The restaurant is pretty and the atmosphere is calm, a far cry from the crowded, frenetic scene at La Versailles and other tourist bound Cuban restaurants. The service was attentive without being over bearing. You can not beat the value. We are coming back with family from out of town so they can experience an authentic Cuban meal.

I've tried a number of Cuban establishments here in Miami since I moved down 2 years ago. This is by far the most consistent. I generally stay with the simple dishes, picadillo, ropa vieja, arroz con pollo. But they are always otustanding. I don't see it on the menu now (it may have been a special), but they also made an amazing cordero. I'm about to order the arroz con pollo now!
