Fantastic Italian experience
We were in town for 1 night and our hotel recommended a restaurant that we found to have burned down.Driving around the street, we saw the lights of the LaVeranda and dropped in. This was the best decision we made all day - excellent drinks, great food and service - a little pricey but well worth it. This is not a "typical" Italian restaurant - it is the best! Try it - you will enjoy it!

Excellent choice
Been wanting to go for a while now since I pass by every day. Finally tried it today and let me tell you....im glad we did, the food was excellent, price good and the place is very warming....a really good experience, def be coming back. My boyfriend is half Italian and this is real Italian food, the best i've tried so far.

Smaller portions
We were at the restaurant on new years eve, and for starters we ordered our favorite appetizers stuffed mushrooms, which are to die for, but lately we noticed that the mushrooms are getting smaller and smaller. At $11.95 which we usually don't mind I think something is not right. I hope I wont have to verbalize this the next time we go. everthing else was lovely, but that certainly disappointed us.

The best!
I have been going to this restaurant since the 70's and it has stayed consistently excellent through the years. Try the Lobster Fra Diavolo - it will not disappoint :)

A bit of Italy in Florida
One of the best Italian Restaurants in Florida. Coming from NY, it is very hard to please me. This did! Quite the surprise! I will be back again & again

Tuscan atmosphere
A total surprise walking into this most charming restaurant. Warm atmosphere, very cozy. Waiter was very attentive, food was served piping hot and the noise level was tolerable. Carrying on an across the table conversation was no problem. As Arnold said, "I'll be back."
