Larios on the Beach

I was in Miami for a couple weeks ago for the Sony Erickson tennis match, we decided to try South Beach. What attracted me to Larios was the fact they were not on the sidewalks asking for business. After we sat we order Mojitos which I drank the first before the waiter could it past my table. WONDERFUL! I cant remember what I ordered the first night. Yes the first night! We went Friday and Saturday. Saturday I ordered the pork chops and ohh my word they were great. Of course I had three Mango Mojitos this night. I love this place, cant wait to go back.

We went to Larios to celebrate our annivsary, we have been there before, it usually is good .. but not great. Now, it has changed to just another tourist trap with bad service, water downed drinks (Sangria) and bad food. The hostess tried to get us to sit inside (very nosiy) but we insisted and politely told her we would wait for a outside table. Even though she told us there was a 30 minute wait for an outside table, we were seated right away! Yes, Larios has the "vibe" and all of that ... but if you want good Cuban food there are many excellent restaurants to choose from.

My husband and I were in Miami about a month and we loved Larios so much that we went back three times we tried different dishes and everything was good - food, great atmospher and very reasonable in price. The service is wonderful - we will definitely go back.

been eating here since they opened--service is too fast, but the food is amazing--try the grilled grouper, chicken soup and salad--fun party atmosphere--very reasonable--compared to anything on the strip

Im from Chicago and i visited Miami on vacation and heard rave reviews about this place so i had to check it out.Larios is a beautiful restaurant located right on Ocean Dr. with great atmosphere and decent food. We started with cod and crab fritters....the texture, makeup and taste of these fritters will put you the mind of hush puppies. They were not tasty at all .......there was barely any crab or fish in these fritters. they lacked flavor it was like eating a ball of deep fried bread. avoid these. I ordered garlic shrimp, it came with jasmine rice and was delicious. The shrimp was extremely fresh which i have to assume is entirely due to the ocean only steps from Larios front door. My boyfriend had a beef cuban sandwich, and it was so good. Of course we had to have mojitos..they were very disappointing. the bartender stuck to the standard cuban mojito recipe until it came to the liquor we were convinced there was none in our drinks, my drink was actually extremly flat as if tap water was used to mix it. Overall our entrees were great but we visited this place for lunch we had 1 drink each and no desserts and our bill was close to $200...to me this place was not worth it but you can draw your own conclusion
