Food was good, the issue was the server. I asked for juice and he stated that they had many flavors, we ordered two mangos and one strawberry. Mind you the price indicated in the menu was $4.95...yeah right...When the billed arrived, the three juices were on the bill under smoothies and for a total of $24.00 (just the juices, that according to the server, were "smoothies"). By the way, there is no smoothies in the menu. They basically charged us the price of alcoholic cocktails, without the alcohol. Oh, and the server kept saying that he explained to me the "difference" between juices and smoothies, he never mentioned the word smoothies when we ordered the juices. The manager was no help.

We asked for Chicken Milanesa without ham and we got the Chicken with Ham and no Sauce. We waited 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table after the rest of the group finished the meals. The server didn't apologize for their mistake. My son was already angry and didn't enjoy the NEW plate. My Cuban Sandwich was smaller than a Media Noche. On the positive side the boiled Yucca was good.

..giving a bad review due to poor service, however or initial encounter with the wait staff was not good. It was before lunch hour and there were many empty tables. We were seated and promptly informed that we had to order lunch right now or we couldn't sit. We were planning on ordering lunch and ordered coffees and lemonade first. Apparently that was not good enough. The waitress was so rude. We asked for a manager who them sent over another waitress who was a bit more friendly. The food was good. Our new waitress was good. But for a visitor from far away, this type of service is what gives us a bad reputation.

The perfect atmosphere, right on the water. The food was excellent as was the service. Even met the owner, great guy and very talkative too!! The pitcher of mojito was a great time for me and the wife. I would definatley recommend this place if your in the Bayside area!

Wonderful Cuban Restaurant situated on the bayside with outdoor seating. The food is so authentic, not what I expected for this mall area. Try the large appetizer with a little bit of everything, the cuban tamal in the center was the best I ever had. The food was fresh, wonderfully, tasteful, reasonable prices, and the service was wonderful.
