Food was good, service not... but what was really troublesome, was when they say two free sides, you get ultimately charged for one as THEY DO NOT TELL YOU, the rice counts as a side and so does the beans.. who eats just beans? I ordered what I thought was rice and beans and tostones and was charged additional... so ultimately, your food value isn't as what you thought was cheap. disappointed. P.s. the waitress couldn't be bothered with us.. it was after lunch rush and she obviously wanted to rest. She didn't even ask if we wanted drinks.. and then she brought out two of the meals and she forgot the third...

I am Hispanic and this is by far the best Cuban restaurant I have ever gone to, cheap, big portions, and great service.

We are from Iowa and can't wait every year to get down to South Florida for the great Cuban cuisine. We have eaten on Calle 8 in Miami and this reaturant here in Pompano beats them all. The flavors and portions are wonderful-esp. the Bistec Pollo and dreamy flan for dessert. We love this place. Yes, it is busy at lunch, no tables left, but got our food within 10 min.

This place was fantastic! We're from Colorado and were wanting to try new things. Our waiter warmed up to our large party after a bit.... didnt know what to order but after an appetizer of plantains, I ordered a Pollo M something. I was a fried chicken breast with red sauce with a few pieces of thin ham and the whole thing was smothered in cheese... it was the bomb! I got yellow rice and black beans on the side! You have to try it!
