Can't beat the view and the service was awesome

In my opinion the food is not the greatest BUT, it is pallatable. This place is all about the atmosphere. The night that we went, the service was fantastic. If you are looking for a wild time, this is not the place. You are right on the beach in a quieter, more subdued area of the Hollywood boardwalk.I would definitely return for drinks.

Good food brought down by poor service

I can cook and so can my husband, so when we eat out, the service needs to be good or we could stay home and not miss out! I had a salad, he had the sea bass. Both tasted great, but his portion, including side items, was still way too small. The worst thing about the experience was the service. The manager who seated us was rude from the beginning. She made the whole night a complete waste. Our server tried to smooth it over, but she was over-worked and the place was understaffed. After the rudeness, the manager did nothing else but stand around yacking the rest of the time we were there. The prices were too steep for employees to have attitude. If the place wasn't outdoors facing the ocean on a nice section of beach, they would not be in business still. It would also help if they came up with a better plan for covering the outdoor dining in wind and rain.
