We took a nice boat trip down the ICW just to go to LeTub for a burger. We were told it would be 1.5 hr wait...we were okay with the wait. Waitress took our order, 2 hrs later we were told our order would be out in 10 min...30 min later still starving...we asked to speak with the mgr. 45 minutes and still not food...and no mgr. we have now been waiting 2 hr 45 min. There were 2 boats came, tied up and left after having lunch and we still had not gotten our food! A couple sitting behind us sat down a couple miinutes before us and they were served and left before we got our food. We asked for the mgr again...she came over and immediately said repeatedly "no way have you been waiting 2 hr 45 min!" she also said "I can offer you key lime pie"...we didn't want Key Lime Pie...we wanted our burgers! She was rude, did not listen...all she wanted to do is spout out how we were lying about the wait and the waitress conveniently did not remember when we ordered. The mgr nor the waitress offered no reason for the LONG wait. We finally got our food...not all at the same time (there were 4 of us) almost 3 hrs after we sat down! We determined the waitress forgot to put our order in therefore we forgot to tip her.

Best burger? Was not impressed. Felt like they didn't want my business. Picnic table by the inter-coastal. Would have done better had I packed peanut butter and jelly, would have eaten much sooner too.

This place epitomizes the word "dive" but the food is great. Chef/ Cook has been on the job for 20 something years but never compliment his cooking because you will annoy him. This is an absolute must for the burger fan and is definitely a place that will grow on you.

I live in the neighborhood so i went there a few times over the past 9 years. It is a " fun " place, great location on the intracoastal ( that is why i go there once in a while, when i have friends from out of town visiting), but way overpriced and overrated. The service is as bad as it was several years ago, the salads are iceberg lettuces, the famous burgers, too big and quite frankly not that special either....i had much better in a lot of places. So if you are in the neighborhood, yes maybe, otherwise, not worth the trip.

This place certainly has the rep for the some of the best burgers in the country. Just ask Oprah. If you are in the mood to wait about 40-45 minutes for a burger that is really a small meat loaf give it a try. No one needs to eat 13 oz. chopped meat. Its just too big. Zero atmosphere but that is part of the charm I guess.
