Not recommended
I just moved to town & decided to stop by Lefty's for a few drinks & some food. I sat at the bar & was immediately greeted by a hot bartender. I told her I was new in town & had never been. She explained the happy hour & went over the dinner specials. I ordered my drink & went along with her recommendation to order the clams & mussels appetizer. They were pretty tasty except the baguettes were loaded with oleo & tasted stale. I wanted to leave because the place looks so dirty. The manager walking around looked so unhappy. It was really a depressing place. The bartender kept me smiling & made me feel as if we had known each other for years. So I decided to stay & order food to take home. What a MISTAKE! I ordered the Mona Lisa. It was greasy, had a tiny piece of mozzarella & the baked potato was probably a week old. This I didn't realize until I got home. If I return it WILL NOT be for the food. The only thing that place has going for itself is a hot bartender with a dazzling personality.

Highly disappointed!
The calamari was little pieces of fried batter,maybe 1 or 2 pieces of actual calamari, and it was $10.00! We told the waitress and she said she was sorry, she was nice, it was not her fault. We let it go and just said we won't order that anymore. The Mona Lisa sandwich was dripping with grease and had no flavor, the bun was stale and the fries were cooked in old oil(tasted funky)She asked us if everything was ok, being that we left the whole bowl of calamari and then we only took a couple bites of the sandwich. We voiced our opinion,she said let me talk to the manager.She said the manager said there is nothing he can do for us. He said we ate too much of it. He never even came out to apologize! Nothing at all! $33.00 later and we went home hungry! Needless to say, I would not recommend Lefty's in Davie on State Road 84!

Great wings, otherwise not so much.
Ordered take out and food was ready shortly after I got there.The wings were good. Nice and meaty, with just the right amount of heat. However, the potato skins were burnt to a crisp; hard and dry with black edges. Won't make the mistake of ordering them again.

What a great lunch
Had awesome lunch today at Lefty's in Davie. Great food, quick service, great atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant! We also were told that they are under new management and now featuring a Ladies Night is Wednesday Nights for Only 99ยข. I'm there!

Not recommended
The waitress didn't know the specials or if the house wine was elgilble for the happy hour . We ordered the prime rib. One well done the other med rare. One came rare the other raw. Sent it back and one came ok and the other still raw . I sent mine back because it was inedible. The manager didn't seem to care that we were unhappy. I paid for one dinner and a glass of wine. Not even an apology. Other than from the waitress
