My husband has never eaten Brazilian food before and I found this little restaurant online. Let me tell you! For a Tuesday night it was busy. Located in Little Buenos Aires on 69th and Collins, we were surrounded by Argentinian restaurants. The place across the street from us was completely empty. We ordered 2 appetisers, one Fried Yuca and Sausages and Jumbo Shrimp in Garlic and olive Oil. As soon as my husband and I took our first bite I looked at my husbands face and knew he was in love. He ordered the famous Brazilian steak dish (picanha) and I got the Moqueca de Peixe com Pirao a national fish stew, so yummy, tasty, juicy, flavorful. We couldn't finish the dinner but I wanted him to try Brazilian style flan. I thought they were going to bring a little piece but it was a really nice size that we could both share. It was so rich and tasty, if there weren't people around I would've picked up the plate to suck up the syrup! It's a little place, hence the name but it's very charming and not pretentious like places like Texas de Brazil where there is so much food you come out feeling like a turkey on Thanksgiving. Plus meter parking is free after 6pm on weekdays! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back for more!
