Based on all the other positive reviews, I expected a lot more. I thought it was just ok. The fish was fresh enough, but the portions were tiny. Plus, there were two different misrepresentations. The Sushi Sashimi special for $12.95 clearly says on the menu that it is 8 pieces sashimi and 4 sushi. I only got 6 pieces of sashimi and when I asked about it was told the chef decides the portions and the waitress (co-owner?) did the menu and got it wrong. She seemed unconcerned and apparently they aren't going to bother fixing the menu. No apology either. Then, when the bill came they overcharged us on the sashimi special. She immediately corrected it but again no apology. It was only an extra 50 cents but I get the feeling that do that to everyone and hope they don't complain. I won't be going back.

Not the best place to go if you are on a rushed lunch break, but the sushi and sashimi are so fresh, and the ingredients are amazing.

Took me 20mins to walk there from Brickell, totally worth it. Nice people and the food was great.I orderd the crab rock something, and the spicy tuna sandwich. Highly recommended.

Been looking for a small and good local sushi place like i had back in nyc, and think i found it! its small enough that if i went back every week the owner would probably know my name. not that many places like that in miami. not crazy about the location though. its not visable from the street (inside the jewlery exchange across from macys) but the food is great and worth going a bit out of the way. if it were in mary brickell village or closer to the downtown apt buildings where there are more people walking around, i would certainly eat here every week for my sushi fix. food was far better than any of the sushi places in mary brickell. hopefully the owners will open another location or move to somewhere more convenient in the downtown/brickell area.

Went there for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. we tried the miso soup, kabayaki, white wine and the daily special roll that I cant even pronouce- but it was delish! (it included salmon, tuna, white fish, peach, celery and some more amazing ingredients). the place is hard to find as it's tucked away, but def worth a visit.

I went to this place so many times. One of the best Japanese Tapas at downtown Miami. I read Little Lotus review from urbandaddy, yelp, food blogs, biscayne magazines, everyone giving two thumbs for this new restaurant. Small and hidden place but very very good quality, worth it to visit. If you know how to taste good food and sushi, must try this restaurant. U can't claim yourself as a foodie till try this restaurant. I bet you will love it. Try the Crispy Bok Choy, 8 Crazy Nite, Sari Salad... all yummy.
