Long Island Cafe

I have eaten here many times in the last year. I have had breakfast and lunch. Both are great. The lunch menu is very good with many different types of sandwiches. Breakfast is available all day until closing. I especially like the Cafe's Chicken Rockefeller. My only wish is that they add additional menu options that are not sandwiches. Everything on the menu is EXCEPTIONAL!

I had been sick for a week in bed and woke up feeling better so I thought I feel like a good breakfast. I really did not expect to find anything in my area but I Googled Oaklandpark & Hiatus, up came these reviews on Long Island Café. They are all 100% right the Corned Beef Hash with 2 Eggs Over Easy on Top and a side of Hash Brown Potatoes and it was perfect. Corned Beef Hash crisped just right, Hash Browns were not greasy as they can be at other strip mall breakfast joints. Coffee good, Large OJ $1.85 great.

This place is amazing. I was looking for a nice establishment that had a home feel to it. From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. My girlfriend and I received friendly and fast service and the food was delicious. We both had omelettes and they both were great. We will definitely be going back for many more meals. Highly recommended!

I'd been past this place dozens of times and never gave it a second glance. It's Small little eatery in a strip by my house. I stumbled on some favorable reviews online so I tried it. The only thing I can say now is I'm angry for not having done so before now. The breakfasts are outstanding. All made fresh to order and the portions are very large. (The omlettes are enormous). The hash and meat lovers omlettes are big faovrites. I have yet to try anything on the menu that wasn't delicious. I normally do carry out but the staff are very friendly and I frequently here servers talking to customers by name (Indicates a regular crowd and always a good sign in my opinion). I would defintely recommend The Long Island Cafe...try it once and you'll be back.
