Ok food but high pricing!
I ordered the $5.78 lunch special which is 2 slices of cheese pizza with a soda. I ordered 4 toppings on those slices. My husband ordered 1 slice of pizza with 3 different toppings and a drink. The waitress neglected to tell me that you have to pay an extra $1.50 for each topping on EACH SLICE. When the bill came it $39.00! Needless to say, there was 4 (FOUR) guests next to us who had the same special and their bill came out to $44! The food isn't even that great for them to be charging like that. They'll never get our business again.

Watch out when you receive the check!
We ordered the family deal for $19.95 and the check came for $27.95. When asking the waitress she said that they had added 18% gratuity, despite the fact that there is a note specifically explaining that gratuity is not included. And besides that, they added tax to the gratuity! I refused to pay the "forced" gratuity, so they reduced the check to $23.66. Note: I usually tip 20% but I really hate when they try to force it on me, in particular without notice! Service was very slow - even in an empty restaurant it took them about five minutes to finally come to our table. The pizza was so so. The cheese was weird, like it was not fresh. The garlic bread was old and did not taste well. These people will never see us again!

Great food, shoddy rude service...
The food here is great. Having worked in a Restaurant / Pizzeria my family owned I should know. Service however needs greatly improved. Rude staff, owners especially and uninviting practically every time we go there. We keep going because the foods is very good and reminds us of back home, but everyone that works there seems to have a chip on their shoulder! If we ever find another pizzeria as good, this place is out for good!

Excellent Italian food...finally!
I'm so happy that there is a decent Italian restaurant in Homestead. It reminds of the restaurants back home in NY. Food is excellent, especially those garlic rolls! Prices aren't cheap but you do get a lot of food. It's an open restaurant with tables and a tile floor so it's pretty noisy because everything echoes. The noise doesn't bother me because I'm there to eat, I'll talk afterward. The service is friendly but some waitstaff is slower than others. Bottom line: highly recommend.
