Mango's

We were seated immediately by a friendly staffer. We ordered a bottle of wine and asked for glasses of water. They came side-by-side within a short time. After ordering our meal there was quite a wait. We did not see the waitress during this time, and since rolls, crackers, etc. are not provided the long wait for our meal seemed longer. After the initial staff wine pouring, refills are your responsibility. Most of the entrees are offered with smashed potatoes or pasta. This presents the restaurant menu as more of a diner style offering. We enjoyed both a Mahi-Mahi sandwich and a Chicken Breast Sandwich both took a bit of time arriving. They were tasty and cooked appropriately. The side chosen was cold-slaw which was crisp and plentiful. We had to get our waitresses' attention to get a refill of water after our food was served by kitchen staffers. This was disappointing. During our visit the noise level was low, and the AC nicely cooled us off. The restaurant nicely filled up both inside and outside during our meal unlike many of the neighboring establishments.

The south florida energy is alive and well at Mango's. We love the food my wife had a salmon with a mango salsa and I had seafood fettucini both diffferent and superb. Then we got up shaked our bodies to the band and off we went club hopping. The atmosphere reflects Los Olas it's lovely and enchanting.

When I get the chance, I lunch at Mango's. The Mango's seafood salad is always perfect. I enjoy it because it is different and reasonably priced. I have never had a bad meal there, and service has greatly improved from the first time I ate there several years ago. I prefer lunch over dinner simply because I am less likely to have to wait.

After waiting for more then an hour,we were seated near the band.The music was so loud we had to wait for a pause to place our order. The food arrived and it was average,the waitstaff never check back. Would not return!

Absolutely great food especially the mango with chicken. A signature dish. They are quite fast at making your food especially when the place is not completely filled. Side salad are quite tasty and almost steal the show for the rest of the meal.
