    Penne ala vodka

Pizza was ok. Penne ala vodka was great! I have only had better in one other place and that place is in Bonita Springs.

Pizza, pasta & side order review

Just picked up dinner...A large Pizza w/ Xtra cheese, Zuppa di Clams (white sauce) and an order of Sautéed Spinach. First off the pizza - it would be fantastic if the dough was not frozen at some point prior to turning it into a pizza. I say its frozen because anytime you freeze bread or dough and then thaw and use it, the end product dries out very quickly and since I picked up my order 20 minutes from the time I ordered it and was home in 5 minutes eating it, either their dough is frozen or they gave me a pizza that someone else ordered 2 hours earlier and was sitting on top of the oven until I got there. Again, it’s too bad because other than that the pizza was just like pizza I would get in NY or NJ. Next the Zuppa di Clams - I'm not sure if they gave me the wrong thing or they just don’t know what Zuppa di Clams is because what I got was Linguini with white clam sauce. However, the good news is it was absolutely FANTASTIC. I will return for that alone, but be aware it is loaded with garlic but since I love garlic and they do a good job of roasting the garlic a bit so it has a sweeter more mellow flavor than just throwing in a bunch of raw chopped up garlic. Finally, the sautéed spinach was pathetic. Why they would use chopped up frozen spinach rather that some nice fresh spinach sautéed in garlic is beyond me but I guess that’s the difference of ordering something like that from a pizzeria restaurant vs. a real Italian restaurant. Also, on a previous occasion I had their Penne Ala Vodka - this was also one of the best versions of this dish that I have ever had and will return for that as well. I know they have been around a looong time and I doubt my review will even be read and if so taken serious but with if they just moved towards fresh ingredients rather than frozen...this place could be a contender!

    Flavor Explosion!

Not only is the food here amazing, but the staff are sooooo welcoming!! From the adorable woman that greets you when you walk in to the servers, the staff couldn't be more helpful. The food is so flavorful - I personally love the Chicken Marsala and the seafood dishes. Oh, and you can't go without trying the garlic rolls. Yummmm.
