Great
It's the best sushi in miami and the price is good. I just read complaints about US$ 16 o toro sashimi. If you know anything about otoro you would know that' s really cheap, especially for blue finn. I challenge you to find cheaper sushi with the same quality

Great food, mediocre service
This place has very authentic Japanese food (and even a special Japanese menu). I have lived in Japan and do think their food is excellent. My Japanese friend thought it was the best Japanese food she had in Miami. Unfortunately, their service is slow, rude, and inefficient. Because of this, I typically go somewhere else. Occasionally I will brave Matsuri. If you go, but sure to make a reservation and still be prepared to wait.

Not recommended
I just went to the restaurant. I ordered Otoro(fatty tuna) sashimi ; when the waitress brought the dish, I could not believe what I saw, which is four tiny slices of Otoro, even though taste like Cyutoro, cost $16.00! Other stuff also are too small but are too expensive... We decided to leave early but wanted to try whole Anago shiroyaki Tenen shio yuzu... it was thin and more unappetizing than a pack of frozen eel sold at chinese grocery!

Best in Miami
I learned to eat Sushi in this restaurant over 20 years ago. Food is phenominal. Best Japanese restaurant in Miami bar none.

Excellent food and value!
Seriously, this is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town, and the ambience and price are fair deals. Can't go wrong here!

too good to compare
The best sushi I've ever had by far. The ginger dressing is always fresh and the resturant is always impecable. This place is way to good to compare to anything else. Absolutely love it!
