Best I've been to
I've eaten here weekly for the last 12 years- their lunch special for $8 is so amazing it makes you not want to go for dinner... But it is so good, you can not resist. Can't beat the quality of their food, or the speed it comes at. Never been sick off their raw food; I must have eaten here over 500 times!!! I've ordered the whole menu...

The truth
God help you if you don't have your order ready when they ask for it. Plates come fast and on top of each other. Order a small soup and eat it fast, the main course follows fast. The impression of eat fast and get out is evident. The food, however, is good and fresh.

Simply the best
I challenge anyone to find a better sushi restaurant. The quality is unmatched and the prices are out of this world. Previously the only knock on Matsuri was the outdated interior but after the recently completed renovations it looks like a restaurant that belongs in the heart of South Beach. Trust me this is the freshest fish that I have ever found at a sushi restaurant and I have been all over the world. I am just happy that the best is in my backyard.
