Great Experience
Our family visits Singer Island almost every year, and we always try to hit this place twice during our visit. We have always enjoyed the food and service. Try the veal saltimbocca.

Poor atmosphere. Decent food.
There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. She was not friendly or attentive. The two of us waited for nearly an hour for our entrees and my mom's veal milanese came out cold. When brought to the attention of the manager he took it back to the kitchen and when it returned it was still cold! He had a loud argument with the waitress from the kitchen. An overall uncomfortable night. The food was not terrible but the atmosphere drastically detracted from the whole experience.

Nice food, nice service, not so good owner
Myself and my date came here for the 1st time and we love the food and the environment. The waitstaff was excellent in their job, but I wondered about the owner. When we first walked in, he sat us in the middle of the resturant and when other people were coming in , he paid more attention to the other customers that it made my date feel very unconfortable. I would love to bring her back here at least once a week. As a chef, I think that the owner should pay more attention to his customers that are enjoying the food.

Poor service
I have been here, so many times and each time the same waitress is just plain disappointing. Last Friday evening we wanted to have a nice dinner and then go to an event. We live on the island the the Italian here is one of the best places. The service is poor though. She would disappear, she asked us many times 'are you done yet'? when we were only half way through our meal. we felt rushed. Looking at out watches, we were there a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes. bang zoom and out the door, practically pushed. Our waitress did not even suggest anything on the menu for dessert or coffee, instead she said "there's an ice cream place across the street"? we've never been served like this. Max & Eddie, get a new waitress please!

Best on Singer!
We come to Singer one or two times a year, do dinner several times every time over the past 6 years. Just great food and service. Don't let the looks fool you on this one.

Take out pizza
We ordered a pizza for take out. It was ready at the promised time but was not a very good pizza. Very bland. We ordered sausage and I think there was 8 pieces of sausage on it. Would not get the pizza again.

Hidden find
Great hidden Italian find-not busy on Friday evening, atmosphere great, and food good, but a little overpriced. Bread and oil a nice touch, but bread too done! Sharing charge $7.95-seems a little high
