We heard a lot of buzz about the restaurant so we thought we would try it. The hostesses jammed us in between two couples while there were plenty of empty tables throughout the restaurant. Thankfully we moved. There were not that many people eating, maybe a half-full restaurant, but there were plenty of people at the restaurant's two bars. The food was very bland and frankly someone could get better Italian food for a lot less. Surprisingly, the meatballs, its namesake were lame and very expensive. The desserts are about ten dollars and up, simply overpriced and most importantly lousy food at any price. Although I must say the service was pretty good.

What a great place to eat, we brought our family and our friends to The Meatball Room two times so far and it never fails to surprise me. We had such a wonderful experience. We would recommend the meatball room to all of our friends and family.

For a place that calls itself meatballs, you would expect to find superior quality meatballs. Nothing that we ordered was in the least impressive. Since I had left over a meatball, I did a head to head comparison with some frozen meatballs I was planning to prepare that I had purchased at Costco. We thought they tasted amazingly similar. It made us wonder whether, quite seriously, that is where they get their stuff from. Waiter seemed well meaning enough but was totally incompetent; timing of meal was unacceptable. Given that this place just opened and we live in the area, we thought we would give it a try. We expected much more, and perhaps as a result, were very disappointed. Walking out of the place we found ourselves laughing that we should have went to Olive Garden instead (and believe me, beyond the good soup and salad at Olive Garden, we are no fans of them either).

Where Do I start. I found this place because of Groupon, so we decided to give it a try $30 for $60 in food Things started normal, Waiter was friendly, but his skills were fair at best. We got our first round of drinks quick but then we started down the hill. Didn't bother to ask us if we wanted an app until we stopped him 15 minutes later. Food was fair, not worth the price, but edible. In the middle of the appetizer I needed a drink, food had some spice to it, we literally had 6 empty glasses stacked on the side of the table, I was sucking on ice. I thought the pile of glasses might give someone a hint. The manager walked by maybe 4-5 times CLUELESS. we finally asked another waiter for some drinks and our waiter finally appeared once he saw us talking to this guy. We presented the Groupon to the waiter he came back and let us know we needed to have 4 dinners, we were short 1. The manger came by and let us know they wouldn't honor it, but we could save it for next time. I said next time, not gonna be a next time. My mistake for not seeing the 4 person fine print, but you cost yourself future visits, and now I feel inclined to give my opinion here. Strictly based on food & service 1 out or 10 and I'm being generous with the 1 PS the bread was Okay.

Group of 6 guys went for dinner and every meal from the hoagie to meatballs to dessert was very, very good. Atmosphere was a little loud but it made for an enjoyable evening.A little pricey but well worth it. Just made a reservation to take my family. Hope its as good as the first.

New Chef! Amazing Went with a party of 10 after hearing about the new Chef John Circharo. The service was outstanding. Server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Despite the restaurant being packed, she catered to our every need. One of our guests was in a wheelchair and immediate accommodations were made for her. Food was 5 Star. So excited to finally have a great place close by.

I haven't heard great things about the Meatball Room but some friends wanted to try it out. I went hesitantly and then was pleasantly surprised. Decent food, ok prices and convenient location at Regency woodfield. I would return
