    hot waitress, awful food

michy's ... went on recommendations and all the press about how creative the food was. well, it wasn't.... michelle bernstein has got to be the most overated chef in Miami. the food was low quality, stingy portions and WAY WAY overpriced. had a dish that was under-cooked and complained to the manager who insisted that was how the vegetables were supposed to be! all the asshole had to do was to have it cooked longer, instead he decided to be defensive and piss off a customer that was paying his salary! take my advice and go to Michael's or Red Light and skip this overated pedestrian restauarant that would rank at the bottom if it tried doing business in Chicago, NYC, Durham, LA or any other major city EXCEPT miami!

    Best Restaurant in Miami

My husband and I have taken every friend or family member who comes into town to Michy's. Consistently quality food. Small portions, but in reality they are right sized portions. Nice to have full or half-sized option. Truffled polenta is dream worthy! The specials have been a little hit or miss. But the mainstays are worth every cent! If you are a foodie who just wants a really meal go to Michy's everytime.

    dissappointment

Went on Saturday to Michys expecting so much more. I saw an interview that Chef Daniel did about the restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try. It seems to be more of a casual bistro than anything else. Must say the food was very good, but it was very very expensive. We were a party of 3 only to glasses of wine, tap water, no dessert and there small portions and the total bill was $160.00.
