The service not very good. Took waiter a great deal of time and not very friendly to come to our table to even find out if we wanted regular or bottle water. He picked up dishes crossing in front of us and placed butter, oil and dishes one on top of other. Not very classy. The food, ok fetuccini too rich, Salmon too fishy. Appertizers really small. I was very surprised that a restaurant with such an esteemed chef, would be so negligent with their wait staff and how they handle their customers. Very disappointing. I don't think we will go back.

I made a reservation from an app on my phone, Momma got a babysitter and we were off on a much needed date. We got to the restaurant and were greeted by a very friendly staff. It was our first time here so might as well start with the Chef's Tasting and it was a culinary fantasy we got everything we had wanted and so much more. The best tuna tartare we ever had, excellent ceviche, incredible burrata salad. Third course spectacular and main dish short rib and salmon wonderful mmmmm not to mention dessert the winner certainly was the coconut flan w citrus salad.

My family and I went and had dinner at Michy's and it was by far the best meal we have eaten in Miami! We had never been there due to the location, which is a little off the beaten path, but so happy we made the trip there finally. Don't let the location scare you away. Every single dish seemed to top the last. We ordered everything in 'half portions' which allowed us to try a lot of different dishes on the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable - Happy to answer any questions we had and suggest dishes we must try. Everyone should definitely give this place a try! You will want to make it a regular dining destination. Don't listen to any bad reviews on this restaurant. Yum!

michy's ... went on recommendations and all the press about how creative the food was. well, it wasn't.... michelle bernstein has got to be the most overated chef in Miami. the food was low quality, stingy portions and WAY WAY overpriced. had a dish that was under-cooked and complained to the manager who insisted that was how the vegetables were supposed to be! all the asshole had to do was to have it cooked longer, instead he decided to be defensive and piss off a customer that was paying his salary! take my advice and go to Michael's or Red Light and skip this overated pedestrian restauarant that would rank at the bottom if it tried doing business in Chicago, NYC, Durham, LA or any other major city EXCEPT miami!

My husband and I have taken every friend or family member who comes into town to Michy's. Consistently quality food. Small portions, but in reality they are right sized portions. Nice to have full or half-sized option. Truffled polenta is dream worthy! The specials have been a little hit or miss. But the mainstays are worth every cent! If you are a foodie who just wants a really meal go to Michy's everytime.

Went on Saturday to Michys expecting so much more. I saw an interview that Chef Daniel did about the restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try. It seems to be more of a casual bistro than anything else. Must say the food was very good, but it was very very expensive. We were a party of 3 only to glasses of wine, tap water, no dessert and there small portions and the total bill was $160.00.
