Miller's Ale House

We have frequented the "Ale House" brand from West Palm Beach to Orlando; their menus may vary a bit but quality is consistent and we stop there often. The Palm Beach Garden location is not in the same league as the others. My guest ordered Fish & Chips - dried out pieces of greasy, over-breaded, overcooked tilapia served with cold, undercooked french fries; both fried in burnt oil in desperate need of changing. My order of Seafood Medley - obviously made in advanced and reheated to order. The only thing freshly made on the entree was three clams and three mussels. The remaining seafood was overcooked, dry and inedible. Being on the "wait-staff" side of the table for many years, I know how it works. Politely voice your problem to the waitress and have your meal fixed...of course this fix all hinges on her return to the table to inquire as to the meal or at worst, getting another waitress to track her down. This was not our luck - neither came to fruition. Cold, uneaten food remained on the plates when she dropped off the dinner check with the statement I'll take that up when you’re ready". We paid the check, vowed never to return and to post a review where possible. Others need to know about Miller’s Ale House, Palm Beach Gardens more than we need another round of unappealing, disappointing food.

This may be a chain, but if you like bar food they have by far the best chicken nachos (with the fixins) we've ever had (and we constantly compare). Not only are they huge (takes about six or so to polish off) they are delicious. They have TVs all over and will change the channels so you can see your game of choice. Also good, boneless wings, turkey burgers (or beef), ribs, salads and of course their captains treasure dessert is amazing. For the prices, they give great portions.

Ale House is everywhere in south florida every city has one and they are all the same. If you like the Davie Ale House then this one will be right up your alley. I tend to dislike this franchise and thus the rating is low. Parking is plentiful and the service was good, but the food is tired and boring and not that tasty.
