WOW, what a great venue to have in Boca Raton. The staff was great and attentive but the food was poor at best. The house band was ok. I hope this place stays open, but unless they get a new menu I fear they short for this town.

We went to this restaurant Friday night @ 6 pm. A group of gals having gals night out. When we arrived, the parking lot wasn't full as it was early. 1 side of building was open parking, other side building had valet. Valet parking was complimentary. We chose to park ourselves though. Restaurant itself is decorated in country western theme, nicely done, whimsical. There were a few people at bar when we arrived, a couple family's dining at tables. We chose to sit outside on patio, the staff was very accommodating in bringing us a large enough table to dine at, outside. The server and the new manager were very helpful, attentive, and pleasant. We had Happy Hour drinks, HH is 4-7, drinks 50% off. $15 for bottle of wine, $9 premium liquor margaritas, $3 for bottle beer. Regular bar prices (off HH) seem little high though, going during Happy Hour was a good choice. We took advantage of line dancing lessons @ 6:30. Teacher was great! She did a wonderful job teaching 3 dances,it was a lot of fun! "house band" came on @ 8:30, they were good. More people arrived around 8. There were quite a few people dancing, we stayed until 10. Volume of the music was just right, not too loud that you couldn't hold a conversation, nor too low you couldn't have a great time dancing & enjoying it! Choice of songs perfect for a country saloon. They had collard greens side dish. They were delicious! Mashed potatos good, parlsey potatos good, onion rings just par. Pulled pork, chicken delicious, half rack babyback ribs, 2 of them delicious, another order appeared tob regular ribs, mostly fat and larger. Rib rub outstanding, spices, flavors mixed w/ just right amount of heat. Unfortunately, ribs were quite dry. BBQ sauce on side, (only 1 flavor appears on menu)was quite good.Pricing for food on par w/ other moderate priced eateries in area. All in all, we had a really fun time. Atmosphere, staff, dancing, music, drinks all positive experiences. The food (we were told they just got a new chef in last week) needs some improvement. We will go back again.

The place is great, the service the food and the entertainment, I know they have a winning concept like to see more of these types of places open. It's perfect for Boca
