We were seated right next to the waiter’s station and kitchen entrance. Upon seeing our table might be bumped by the wait staff I asked the waiter to help move the table closer to the wall which was done. Our server discussed the menu and we requested he order for us so we could get the best the restaurant had to offer. He suggested the Chef’s Special for $62 a person and asked if we had any allergies or food dislikes. We gave him free range to order what he thought would be best. Our wine and drinks arrived which we enjoyed and then appetizers of scallops, lettuce wraps, and chicken saty. The lettuce wraps needed the sauce to make them tasty, the scallops had to be cut with a knife, and the chicken salty was tasteless. (The chicken coating was a pink color plus the white sauce had no taste) The family style entrees arrived of 4 fish/meat small trays and a tray of green beans. The presentation of the tray was colorless and the food amount was unbelievably tiny for a family style dinner. We at the food which was mostly mushy, extremely dry, or an unpleasing color. We were still hungry so we ordered coffee and dessert. The coffee arrived cold (sent back and replaced) and the 3 of the 4 desserts were enjoyed. My cheese cake was warm and melting. I will say the wait staff was polite and attentive to refilling water and cleaning the table. After the billed was paid and upon getting up from our table my mother said she was constantly getting bumped by the wait staff walking behind her. She didn’t want to tell us this during dinner to upset us. My husband went up to the hostess stand to request talking to the maître de but it was so busy it was difficult to get anyone’s attention so we left. We were so disappointed with the quality and presentation of food. Our total bill came to $536.58 which is a lot of money for us but we feel if we had truly enjoyed the ambiance, food, and experience, it would have been worth it to us. However this is not how we felt. On our drive home we discussed stopping for a hamburger but were too tired and went home

I absolutely love this place.The service is superb and the food is amazing. Great place to take you friends for dinner. Yeah it is expensive,but is well worth it the experience.

They really want you in and out - we went here for the Peking duck because we had heard from other folks that had eaten there that most of the other food is basic Chinese food with a minor twist to charge ASTRONOMICAL prices. We went for an early seating so that we would not be rushed or have to deal with the later rush crowd and guess what at 7:30 - sorry we are fresh out of Peking duck - maybe it's because it takes 40 minutes to prepare and we want you to drop your $150 per person and get out.... Oh....did I mention that on my way back from the bathroom the table next to us had a beautiful Peking duck being carved for them....just wonderful isn't it! So we ordered some other items off the menu and it was very basic Chinese food. The waiters push you to let them order for you (which we didn't do - others had warned us about it) so that they can give you whatever they are pushing that night...not because it will be an amazing gastronomical experience. Really?? Crab meat with egg whites - small tapas plate $42.....Drunken Fish - basically sole in white wine sauce - again small tapas plate $38?! I have no issue paying good money for good food - we are from New York and regularly eat at very nice/good restaurants - but I don't like being ripped off! Lastly - the bus-boys run around frantically when someone gets up so that the next seating can take place (did I mention get them in - get them out) to the point that even if you are trying to have a nice dinner the clearing of tables - ripping up sheets, picking up plates, putting down new sheets and throwing glasses on the table is just one more thing that makes a dining experience here disappointing. So go here for the scene - pretty girls at the restaurant bar and the older rich men chasing them....but don't go for the food. Eat somewhere else..

I am actually a Realtor on Miami Beach and Brickell area and I always take my customers to eat here as the ambiance is perfect. It’s a great place to talk over a bottle of wine and get to know my customers on a different level.
