Mr. Zhang's Chinese
Posted by CTNYRFAN on 09/12/2014
Since moving from Queens 19 years ago I have been on a quest to find decent Chinese food in Florida. Mr. Zhang and Uncle Joe's are as good as you will find in Northern PB County. It's definitely not Uncle Dai's on Main Street in Flushing.

Very disappointed! We were excited to try Mr. Zhangs and soon after I got my food I was ready to leave. Not kid friendly. No kids menu and our server was not in a good mood. After he took our drink and dinner order he didn't come back till after our meal.No refills were offered and we couldn't find him to ask for any.The food was nothing to brag about.I would have rather ordered from fast food take out elsewhere. It took him over twenty five minutes to return so we could pay,I left with my kids while my husband waited to pay.I would never recommend to anyone. Poor service overall!

If only for their steamed shrimp dumplings & chow fun (both are awesome!), Mr. Zhangs is always good. Eating in is better than takeout since fresh from the kitchen is so much better.

We love Mr. Zhangs, we did have burnt rice one time but it never happened again! It is our place to go when we want to have CHINESE!!!

My best friend is chinese and I know REAL chinese food! Not only have I eaten at my Best friends house (cooked by her mother who only speaks chinese), but I have eaten in chinatown in NYC and in San Fransico and this is just as good if not better! Everything is good! And it is a clean restaurant!

I definitely agree with the other reviews! We LOVE their dumplings, but this is not a Dim Sum House, by any means. It is very good & very fresh food AND the can make most things low sodium if you ask.

We love the shrimp dumplings, the scallop & shrimp dumplings, & their traditional pan fried pork dumplings. Everything is always fresh and the staff is incredibly nice - even when they're busy. Eating in seems better than take out, but I think it's just better as soon as the food is ready.
