I heard of the restaurant from a friend and we decided to try it. I was amazed by the quality and the service. We arrived at 8:00 PM on a Saturday . They were busy but not crowded yet. I think, during season you must make a reservation. We sat down to wonderful white tablecloth table that was set perfectly. I ordered a bottle of Chianti that was reasonably priced. I had no idea of what we wanted until I saw the Beet, Apple and Walnut salad. We each order one it was spectacular. I ordered pasta olio with extra garlic and broccoli rob which was not on the menu but the waiter said I could have it anyway I want it and the Chef will make it. My wife ordered Salmon and they served some brochette with tomatoes that was good and my salad arrived. I loved so much I almost ordered another one. My wife thought it was amazing and fresh. The entrees came and was perfect. They had a a great piano player and he made the music so good, I even danced with my wife which I have not done in years. I will be back and this now on top of my favorite list.

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Nando on a Sunday night while I was visiting my grandmother in Florida. Although my grandmother is a snowbird, in the past, she has frequented this place on a fairly regular basis. The evening started off well enough, but was then interrupted by a tone-deaf Florida local who decided that he would serenade the place, which was comprised of at least 5-6 tables of seated customers. If you want to be accosted by someone who cannot sing, and a manager who will acquiesce to the man because, in her words, “he is regular,” then this is your place. You can have mediocre food – a thin overcooked pork chop, over dressed salad, and an unbelievably obnoxious manager/owner, who would rather have her paying customers subjected to karaoke than an enjoyable dinner, then this is your place. Expect a karaoke bar, as opposed to a four-star restaurant. Florida is saturated with wonderful Italian restaurants. This is no longer one of them.

Have been there for many years, and usually, the service and food were o.k.. But yesterday: first, the waitress didn't want to take my $25. restaurant.com coupon because it was Saturday. I asked her where it says not valid on Saturdays, then, she spoke to the manager and came back saying it was o.k. (seems they were doing me a favor). Then, I explained that I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten-free, and settle on a fish meal I can have. When my dish arrived, I had a breaded ball of potato/cheese. I can't have a crumb of bread or flour. She had to take it back and give me a new dish. However, we had waited for our meals for over 1 1/2 hrs already! The fish was good, but the levornese sauce was so salty, I could only have a little. I had to drink water all the rest of the evening. Nobody came to ask if all was to our liking, as good waiting people do usually, and nobody offered us coffee refills. I was paying for 2 of my friends in the party plus myself. When the bill arrived, the waitress hadn't credited the $25. Then, there was an item charged that nobody in our party had had. So, had to ask for her twice to credit the mistakes. I hate it when someone tries to take advantage of me. So, none among the 9 of us will return there.

I love this place. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Piano bar. Great service. Can even dance if you choose.
