Excellent value!
I usually go to Nexxt once a week. The food is consistently good and the service always sucks, but overall it's a nice experience. Just don't get too attached to any item on the menu because they keep changing it for no apparent reason, usually removing the best dishes. (what's happened to the barbecue burger???), also be prepared to the terrible service. But the truth is that it's good food make it up for all of it's vices!

2 for 1 Lobster
Got caught in the rain while going back to Washington on Lincoln Rd. But nothing will deter my wife from going back to that sign she saw in front of the Nexxt Cafe... 2 for 1 lobster. So soaking wet we ventured on. We finally made it there and true enough the sign was correct... 2 1.75 lb maine lobster for less than $25/pp. My wife ordered one for herself while I settled on a shepard's pie (lunch portion) for $10. Suffice to say the lobster was tasty, I even managed to get a bite or two even though sharing was not allowed..wink wink. My big suprise was the shepards pie....the portion was huge...I had to ask the waitress if that was their lunch portion. Wow....I wasn't expecting this fine meal at Lincoln Rd at these prices.Try them out

Great food and location!
Huge portions and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants excellent food at a great value.

not good service, okay food.
Only two of the three entrees we ordered were brought to our table. The waiter said my entree would be "one minute." 20 minutes later, I got his attention and asked him to check on my food. He said it wasn't his job to bring it to me, and that the runners were supposed to do it. In the end, I got my meal as everyone else at my table finished eating. When we got the bill, nothing was comped and they added in 18% gratuity.

Something for everyone...
Everytime I travel to South Florida I make a point to eat at Nexxt. The food is always fresh and delicious; there is plenting of outdoor seating, which makes it fun for people watching. The portions are generous - always leftovers, the prices are very good for the area. The atmosphere is a little more casual than other places. Overall this is one of my favorite spots in South Florida.
