When we walked in, I wanted to taste it all! We sat at a big table, just the two of us, and I asked the waiter if we could each have a fork, small plate, and permission to taste everything in the kitchen. He laughed when he realized that I wasn't kidding. We got a bunch of appetizers and the table was almost full--antipasto with olives and stuffed clams and fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, tomatoes and basil and crusty bread and calamari with marinara sauce for dipping, a big salad, eggplant rollatini (eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese), stuffed meatballs (ricotta and Parmesan inside), penne pasta with marinara...we had a great time tasting, talking. The tiramisu was brilliant. The service was excellent--friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous. The food was outstanding, and we will definitely be going back for more. The price was good as well. We got a lot of bang for our buck!

Best Italian Food and huge portions. My friend and I were looking for a place to sit, chat "graze" and catch up on life. Our choice couldn't have been better. We wanted to sample a bit of everything so we ended up ordering a sample of different foods from the appetizer list. We kind of lost track and just kept adding onto our order! WOW, when the server placed our selections in front of us all we could do was laugh. There wasn't any room left on the table (which could have held 4-6 diners). All selection portions were large, hot stuff hot, chilled stuff cold. It indeed was a feast. We had enough of a selection to say that all the food was delicious. Our server, Nick, was great! He didn't rush us, but was attentive when water needed refilling, plates needed clearing, etc. He was friendly, attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. Put it all together and we found exactly what we were looking for! I would recommend Nick's tomato pie without hesitation!

We had a really crappy experience tonight. The food was unappetizing, and the service was even worse. Our server had two eight tops, and paid little to no attention to our table. She supposedly had been there for ten years, but you couldn't tell from the level of service we received tonight. She recognized that a diner didn't touch his meal (because it was tasteless, even after adding the sauce from our appetizer), but said or did nothing. We tried to order a wine from her and she walks away from us. Another guest was trying to ask her something, and she literally answered while walking away. We asked for our leftovers to be packaged up and they did so, but we accidentally left without them. We called when we were at central and indiantown to let them know we had left our leftovers and that we were coming back, but we we're told maybe it was still there. When we got there, the doors were locked and the leftovers were supposedly thrown away....really??....less than sixty seconds later. She wasn't that attentive the whole time we were there, but she cleared our entire table of eight people in less than sixty seconds? Never again!

The atmosphere was loud and not kid friendly. The food came out wrong and the hostess who delivered my salad, dumped the whole dish of dressing on my lap. Worst part- she didn't apologize! Just a huge waste of $40.

We have been eating out at Nick's for almost 16 years. Every anniversay, birthday or just because. We love everything about it. We order chicken oscar and it isn't even on the menu anymore and eggplant rolotini. We eat the bread, house salad and drink the table wine while we wait for our appetizer a la familia to arrive. We are so full by then that we skip right to dessert and order coffee and have our dinners boxed up. We probably spend $100, but we end up having 3 nights of delicious food by having our entrees one night and the side pasta with some salad another night. Great value, great atmosphere, great service !
