I first visited Nuncios when it was located in the Sedanos Plaza on Coral Way in 1980. Mama & Papa where in the back cooking and managing the kitchen and the boys were the waiters. 10 tables next to ea. other and the fridge was outside in the dining area. Mama & Papa are gone boy the boys (old) have keep the food as good as ever. You can see on the walls the family kids, grandsons etc. I have not stopped eating there throughout the years and for dessert Zupetta!

The food is excellent and you never get tired of eating their delicious rolls with garlic. Great service as well.

I have been to Nunzio's a number of times thru the years. The food quality is almost as good as it was years ago, but salt is overused and I can hardly taste the real flavor of food. Restaurant is usually crowded and tables too close making it almost impossible to carry a conversation. Waiters are spread too thin and there is no longer the Italian touch of yesteryears.(real Italian music all the time). We keep going back because of convenience of location and family members nostalgia. Good family restaurant but not a place to go on a date or take out of town non-latin friends.

I started going in the 70's. I remember when all Mamma's sons still had brown hair. I've been there with and through two husbands - had this aromatic comfort food console me when things go wrong and fill me with joy when times are great. Love you Mamma.

I've been going there longer than any of you (since I was in high school - I'm now 54). I started going when they were on 87th Ave., BEFORE they moved to the Coral Way location, which, of course, was before they moved to Bird Rd. Great pizza but I hardly get to eat it b/c I like their special dishes so much.
