Best Mexican food in town!
I love this place! Great food! Great people! My husband was never a big fan of Mexican food and I convinced him to try Ole Ole one day and now it's been years and we go there on the regular. If I could make a believer out of my husband I can guarantee you'll love it.

Going downhil
This used to be the best little place in Plantation...quick, inexpensive, great quality and great service. The service is usually still "good" but the quality and quantity has gone waaaay down while the prices have gone waaaay up. Less for more does not keep customers coming back. Cold and reheated food seems to be the norm on our last 2 visits. When I asked for a few extra chopped avocados in the chicken soup (there were only 3 tiny cubes) I was told no problem, but there would be a charge of $3.50. This soup used to come out w/ the avocados added just before service, usually 10-15 little cubes! Our fajitas were actually served cold, despite grill marks on the meat and the onions on the platter (that are supposed to be sizzling) were white and raw. We've been coming here for 15 years and we loved a great hot and quick dinner that was inexpensive for the family. But now, nothing is great, prices are high and quantity is less. What's worse...owner is indifferent. Bye Bye Ole Ole.

$10.00 for 11 tortilla chips
I was appalled at being charged $10.00 for 11 tortilla chips covered with greasy cheese and not much else. The whole menu was overpriced! Nothing under $10.00, so a friend and I opted for an appitizer, that was priced at $9.50. I thought that $9.50 for nachos was overpriced, and expected a mountain of chips and cheese for this price. We were very disapointed.......11 triangle chips with very little cheese, a tiny squirt of sour cream, a tinier squirt of guacamole, and two tiny shreads if chicken on 2 chips.

Ole ole vs taco kit
Ole ole very bland food. Barely any meat in the taco barely any cheese. When we asked for cheese on the taco they charged an extra dollar. Salsa is over rated but fresh. Service is equivalent to a chain. Taco shell was good. The best thing their is queso and the drinks.

I drive four hours just to visit this authentic Mexican restaurant, I never leave unhappy and enjoy every single thing on their menu.
