I've eaten here for many years. I have no idea why the other reviewer gave such a negative review. I have even recommended this restaurant to some Israeli friends, who have only said positive things about the food quality.

it started probably when we walked in. we were looking for some food to take back to the hotel. we walked in, and went over to the counter to order. we were told that most of our intial order was no longer available on the menu (apparently it was too late in the day) - that's fine. what's not fine is the lack of customer service and overall friendliness that one would expect from a retail establishment. we were basically looked down upon and shown no service by the waitress (a loose expression used to describe her position behind the register). She kept giving us a "why are you here?" attitude that made us look at each other wondering if we did something to offend her. food - not good at all. this part of the review may have been biased by the poor service received when ordering and when receiving the food. lettuce on my meal was soaked so much that the bread underneath was soaked through. i picked up the bread and squeezed water out of it. a little on the expensive side. i agree with Eve C.'s review about pricing. That's like having expensive Mexican food, it just doesn't make sense. i hope this is not what others have received and if it isn't, i question why we received it. very disappointed and won't recommend it to anyone.
