Perfect in any way. This petite restaurant is a true pearl in Miami beach. They can call themselves The Authentic French restaurant if you ask me. We went when they still were in Wash av 720 but they will soon be moving further up the street to nr 520 or somewhere over there. It is very petite and the tables are right next to each other but this also gives it the special ambiance. The waiters were all very polite and friendly. The menu... wauwwwww. I don't even know how to describe it. It's that I can't eat like 5 dishes in a night but if I could, I would have. We had the Charlotte d'avocado, escargots de bourgogne and Otentic crazy platter. They were all very delicious. The self baked bagette they serve was so good, we asked for an extra basket. Even the olive oil they use is one of great quality and taste. The combination of the rucola, olive oil and the ham was suburb. This is an experience you really got to have for yourself. We have been eating in restaurants all over the world and also in different cities in France and this was one of the bests. The prices are absurd low for the quality you get. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who knows how to enjoy good food and who knows what la qualite is.

When we moved from France to the United States, we're always looking for genuine French cuisine. When I saw the reviews, I told myself I had to try this restaurant. I ordered a Country Duck Terrine , best price for this type of appetizer. I recommend people should try this one. We had a Otentic Farmer Steak and Seared Back Of Salmon, also excellent. Just don't forget their pastries, you will feel like you are in France!

My wife and I was looking at the menu at the door wondering if we should go in. Good thing we did and it turned out to be one of most enjoyable meal I had in Sobe. The young man serving us gave us a complimentary glass of wine while looking at the menu. The we both decided on the Otentic steak with a rattatouille for me and penne for my wife with a choice of blue cheese or peppercorn sauce. My steak came out perfectly tender with a huge side of delicious rattatouille. My wife said the same thing with her steak and peppercorn sauce. The server was very attentive and made us feel at home. We finished the meal with the dessert gourmand, a chocolate cake, grilled pineapple with ice cream, a small creme brulee and 2 cafe au lait. The bill only came to $42 including the tip....what a bargain. We plan on coming back again and trying the daily specials next time. Thanks Otentic for a wonderful meal.

My husband and I have been complaining for ten years about the lack of a good French restaurant in Miami that isn't over priced and under quality... Until now. The food at Otentic is prepared fresh, and with a homemade quality ( the fries are hand cut). For ten bucks, you get a nice size entrecôte steak or grilled fish with choice of sauce and sides ( best ratatouille ever!) The handsome young owner is eager to please and treats his customers respectfully, which is rare these days. The place is super clean and charmingly, modernly decorated, including a small champagne bar and the affordable wine selection is a huge plus. Try the Nutella crepe or a cafe gourmand for dessert to finish off your perfect French evening!
