    Best French restaurant in town

When we moved from France to the United States, we're always looking for genuine French cuisine. When I saw the reviews, I told myself I had to try this restaurant. I ordered a Country Duck Terrine , best price for this type of appetizer. I recommend people should try this one. We had a Otentic Farmer Steak and Seared Back Of Salmon, also excellent. Just don't forget their pastries, you will feel like you are in France!

    Wonderful surprise

My wife and I was looking at the menu at the door wondering if we should go in. Good thing we did and it turned out to be one of most enjoyable meal I had in Sobe. The young man serving us gave us a complimentary glass of wine while looking at the menu. The we both decided on the Otentic steak with a rattatouille for me and penne for my wife with a choice of blue cheese or peppercorn sauce. My steak came out perfectly tender with a huge side of delicious rattatouille. My wife said the same thing with her steak and peppercorn sauce. The server was very attentive and made us feel at home. We finished the meal with the dessert gourmand, a chocolate cake, grilled pineapple with ice cream, a small creme brulee and 2 cafe au lait. The bill only came to $42 including the tip....what a bargain. We plan on coming back again and trying the daily specials next time. Thanks Otentic for a wonderful meal.

    Boutique Bistro

My husband and I have been complaining for ten years about the lack of a good French restaurant in Miami that isn't over priced and under quality... Until now. The food at Otentic is prepared fresh, and with a homemade quality ( the fries are hand cut). For ten bucks, you get a nice size entrecĂ´te steak or grilled fish with choice of sauce and sides ( best ratatouille ever!) The handsome young owner is eager to please and treats his customers respectfully, which is rare these days. The place is super clean and charmingly, modernly decorated, including a small champagne bar and the affordable wine selection is a huge plus. Try the Nutella crepe or a cafe gourmand for dessert to finish off your perfect French evening!
