    New fav

We are so over the humdrum Atlantic fare. So happy we now have this little gem. Food is four star fare without the four star prices, and we don't have to deal with Atlantic's traffic.

    Not the pineapple grille

ok place certainly not the warm tropical atmosphere of the old decor nor the welcoming principals to date . good food but relative to price and people.

    I've definitely had better.

Went there with my daugher-in-law recently and it was ok. Just ok. It wasn't disappointing, but it wasn't great. I really found the prices a bit steep and the menu rather dated... I might check it out again in a few months. (if they are still around...)

    A delicious surprise!

Calling all fans of the Pineapple Grill in Delray!! There's a new kid in town at their old location, the Patio Delray, which offers the same excellent cuisine and atmosphere while making its own unique mark on the area's fine dining. The owner's wife, greeted us and introduced us to their varied menu and sparkling new decor. Our group enjoyed pheasant and pistachio pate, tender duck served with a rice gastrique (a delicious medly of wild and brown rice with scallions and a touch of Asian spices), grilled escolar served with sun dried tomato risotto and smokey chicken - every choice a winner! If a mark was missed, it would have to be with the young, inexperienced servers- bread dishes missing from the tablescape and drink orders' delivery delays - but apologies were offered and, in time, they will mature to the level required by this delightful new addition to the area's fine dining.
