Great Duck
Any reviewer here that says the Food is not good is way off base. First the Soups are amazing quality. Appetizers I have had are all tasty. I have always ordered the Peking Duck for 2 or 4 depending on the company. This is one of the best and authentic Peking ducks I have ever eaten, and I lived near Chinatown in NYC for many years. The Duck is succulent moist, superb flavor and crispy skin. It is eaten in a rice tortilla of sorts with its special sauce. This is one of the best meals one could ask for! For 2 the price is only $35 and it comes with Fried Rice and choice of soup. Tremendous value. This is one of the best chinese restaurants in I have ever eaten in. Not upscale, Not Trashy, just a nice casual restaurant with great food and speedy service (even for Peking Duck). There is no extra wait to order Peking Duck.

As close to Mott St. as I have found in Fl.
Being from NY and taking many trips to NYC's China Town. I would have to say this food is close. Yes decor is that of a Italian rest. with a few high five kitties added but I don't go for a the atmosphere. Soups on the money, spare ribs usually juicy as is roast pork. Egg rolls again high quality but watch the hot oil lurking in the end. Pat with napkin. Chicken,Beef dishes very good. Fish just OK. Peking Duck very good. Going to spend e few more $ per entree but sometimes you just have to have Good Chinese.

Not recommended
I ordered a take out dinner order which included "Buddha's Delight", with the sauce on the side. Upon returning home, I found that Pecking Duck did not include the sauce with the take out. I called the restaurant, explained my situation, and the order taker remembered speaking with me and agreed that I had asked for sauce on the side. But the owner of this restaurant said it was the order taker's mistake, and I could drive back to Pompano Beach from Lighthouse Point to pick up the sauce. No credit, no apologies! Working with what we had, we started with the MooShu Shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and tough, and the Quart of Hot and Sour Soup was filled with undercooked exotic mushrooms that were the size of your palm and too tough to chew. It was unappetizing and I doubt I can order my former favorite soup with confidence, anywhere, again. Food and Service - a very disappointing experience! Although I was nice and even tipped on the take out fee, once back in LHP, I was on my own. DO NOT pay or leave this restaurant without taking everything out of the bag and checking that all you ordered has been included. Most importantly, even if you do get everything you ordered, the food is not worth the cost or your time.

Classic Chinese but pricey
The food quality is good but dishes are way overpriced for what you get. Best part about this place is the soup, always go for smaller places with more volume, they have fresher food.

Not good
Had the duck for two delivered. More than half of the meal is in the garbage and we were still hungry.

Excellent Food
The mu shu beef is the best I've ever had. The waiter was friendly funny and prompt. Will definitely come again.
