Despite previous experiences of displeasure, my wife and I have frequented the Peppermill in Sunny Isles and at the Waterways for a number of years. Some meals were better than others but this experience is not unique to The Peppermill. However, I have always enjoyed dining there and I am happy to say I have many more great meals than I had ones I'd wished I'd avoided. I absolutely recommend it.

I am not the type of person who usually writes a review or bad mouths anyone but after my experience at this restaurant I feel it was my quest to advise others from making the same mistake as I. Had to wait 45 minutes to get a cheeseburger and a grilled chicken salad. They had 3 wait staff and 3 tables and it took another 30 minutes for us to get our check. We actually had to get up and find somebody to pay! As we were waiting to pay, we noticed the amount of dust inside the curio cabinets!! Don't think they have ever taken the time to clean or dust the place! Made us wonder what the kitchen looked like

Have eaten here a number of times since it opened, and also when it was in Waterways. Though other reviewr is correct, the quality had gone way down hill, very happy to report it is right back up there since moving to new location. Sunset specials may be best deal in South Florida. The trout almondine is unbelievably fresh and good. Everything I've had there has been great. And the free glass of champagne that you can get in place of an appetizer doesnt hurt either. It is often very busy, try it, you will really like it I think.

Went here for dinner on New Year's Eve with the family. Nice atmosphere on the waterfront. Pleasant interior, white tablecloths. That ends the positive aspect. This was the most unappetizing food I've had in a long time if not ever. Best part was the bread basket. I ordered he lobster bisque soup... It was bland and way too thick, tasted more that cream soup with orange coloring, not a lobster bite to be seen. Could not finish even a 1/4 and I love lobster bisque soup. Tried the steak tartar; the meat was too warm, the seasonings bland and prepackaged, hope the raw egg was fresh. The shrimp cocktail I ordered was tasty and fresh enough. Wow not what I expected for New Years dinner.
