Piola just has a good feel to it, and the food (though not fancy) completes the package.

Most of the disappointment really stemmed from the poor customer service not to say the least. My friend and I arrived, got seated and ordered. ... Appetizer and wine for my friend. We patiently waited for the not so friendly waitress. During lunch She really didn' t pass by much to check up on us. It was a Friday at 3:30.. Place was not packed. Maybe 4 parties of two in the entire place. When we were getting ready to pay my friend a $50.00 gift certificate given to him about a year ago. The bill was 50.23. The waiters came to the table told us Very flatly "your certificate does not cover the tip or tax". Then the manager came over shook our hand and said the same thing to us and in addition told us the certificate we were using must have been issued by the previous manager. Then said " have a nice day" and walked away..what? Really, this was not handled appropriately. In addition since we had to pay the tax and the tip, we did not get the remaining balance of the gift certificate returned to us. This was my first experience and my last at this restaurant... At least at this location. Too bad because the food isn't so disappointing. Mediocre customer service.

Thin, lightly charred crust, Italian-by-way-of Argentina toppings that include potato and egg, fun/funky setting, Moretti beer and cute guys turning out pizza after pizza... really what more do you want?
