They forgot their purpose
Good food, nothing better than many good steak houses in miami. But their service is unacceptable. There are so many other options where you can get both.

Food was great
The Kobe sliders & the fried red velvet cupcakes were amazing. The hostess's don't acknowledge you for at least 10 minutes. Cramped seating, but I'd go back.

Everything that's wrong with dining.
I do not understand why anybody in their right mind would accept abuse of having to wait over an hour for a table, despite having a reservation. Obviously it is the lackadaisical approach of customers that permits them to perpetuate this utter disregard for unsuspecting diners. I wonder if they could legally be held accountable for their intentional herding of clients to the bar. This establishment clearly doesn't value the importance of their customers. And by accepting such ridiculous waits, we're agreeing that we don't deserve any better

Gone way down hill...
Gone are the days when patrons were assured of fine dining at Prime 112 Miami; it’s now a food factory where they send diners to the bar for 50+ minutes past reservation times, herd them into an overcrowded eating trough, serve them the wrong items, bring sides half-way through meals and then present the check. My husband and I ate dinner there on Mon., Feb. 18, and the above is an accurate description of what occurred. We were warned by friends who had eaten there in January that Prime 112 had “changed.” But we eat there once or twice when we’re down from the north, and shrugged our shoulders. We should have taken their advice. We reside in Bal Harbour during the winter, and our next steaks will be from The Palm, where we are still treated as dinner guests--not cattle-- by the management and staff.

What reservation?
We had 6:30 reservation. Get there and see long line at the hostess stand. When we get there, they tell us 1hour wait. Everyone ahead of us also sent to bar for LONG WAIT. The hostess was so disinterested and unaccomodating. Take your business elsewhere unless you have time to waste.

Best restaurant in Sobe
This place has never let me down. The most we wait for our reso is 15mins or less. Never a dull moment. The place is always jumping and celebs all over the place. My fave food is Pan Seared Diver Scallops and the yummy organic field green salad, the 5 cheese mac n cheese, all meats are yo die for. I'm a huge fan. The bar tenders are fun and the wait staff is amazingly sweet. The owner is friendly...

Just do it!! But go early.
We live in Miami, and this is by far our favorite restaurant. However, we never, ever go for the second seating, as you might never get seated. We go at 7:30 and get seated within 20 mins. When family comes down from the northeast, this is our 'go to' place, and it is a big splurge. But we order a lot of sides, and usually the filets or the rib eye. The cauliflower is OMG incredible, order it even if you hate cauliflower.
