This place has never let me down. The most we wait for our reso is 15mins or less. Never a dull moment. The place is always jumping and celebs all over the place. My fave food is Pan Seared Diver Scallops and the yummy organic field green salad, the 5 cheese mac n cheese, all meats are yo die for. I'm a huge fan. The bar tenders are fun and the wait staff is amazingly sweet. The owner is friendly...

We live in Miami, and this is by far our favorite restaurant. However, we never, ever go for the second seating, as you might never get seated. We go at 7:30 and get seated within 20 mins. When family comes down from the northeast, this is our 'go to' place, and it is a big splurge. But we order a lot of sides, and usually the filets or the rib eye. The cauliflower is OMG incredible, order it even if you hate cauliflower.

Had 7:30 reservations. Squeezed into the tiny waiting area with 40 other unhappy people. Felt sorry for the people sitting in front of the bathrooms. Finally seated at 9:30. Menu ordinary. Food was acceptable, not outstanding but was actually too starving/annoyed at that point to enjoy. South Beach has too many other steakhouses that respect reservations; go somewhere else!

Having travelled all over the world and experienced many of the best of the best my experience at Prime 112 was disappointing. We had a reservation for 9.30, we left having not been seated or offered anything but rudeness at 11.30. Not only was the front staff rude but I was also pushed out of the way by the hostess with a stack of menus. Needless to say I will never go there again being treated the way we were treated but seems as if they really don't care.

I went to Prime 112 with 3 clients/friends from Toronto. All of us have dined at the finest steakhouses in North America and some of the finest restaurants in Europe. Everyone agreed it was not only one of the best dinners we had ever had, but also felt that it was one of the best experiences. The Ribeye was sensational. The 4/12 pound Maine Lobster was incredible. And the Giant Shrimp, Maryland Crab Meat and Truffled cream of Corn (yes cream of Corn) were unforgettable. Worth the money and the wait is part of the experience.

I made our reservation 30 days in advance. They had us waiting 2 hours to be seated! They should have told us the wait would be so long when we first got there so we could decide if we wanted to go elsewhere. The girls at the front desk were rude. The manager pretended to help by saying-your table is being set up. Really? It takes 2 hours to set up my table? The food was just ok and definitely NOT worth the wait!

Came here for dinner. We had reservations so we got seated as soon as we showed up. The food was amazing, our steaks were cooked perfectly, and so were our other dishes. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and so was the rest of the staff. We had a pleasant experience. Prices are high, but it's well worth it.
