Qianlong has been my go-to since Hoe Kow closed several years back, and I have been eating there since they opened. The food does not disappoint and there is a little South American flare to it...I actually know their mother restaurant in Venezuela, Los Farolitos, in Maracaibo and then El Palmar in Caracas, and recall many delicious meals at both places as a child. Most of that has been translated to Qianlong, modified a bit for the American palate, yet still retaining that original taste I remember. Be warned though, this is almost exclusively Cantonese, and specifically, Hong Kong cooking. Not fancy or stuffy, the actual restaurant is a small place, and very tastefully decorated. Delivery in the area is usually fast (except lunch time - expect a wait then, as there are TONS of people ordering from the business community in the city) and the food is always hot and fresh. My personal favorite is the oven BBQ duck and the Yeung Chao Fan, which is not encountered in too many places. The Emperor Chicken is pretty good, as is the Mongolian Beef. If you're really lucky when you call, they'll have Hong Kong XO Beef that day.
