I am from Spain and I went to eat to this restaurant. The octopus and the garlic chicken were unappetizing. They seemed to have been boiled and then the spices were added. The potatoes alioli were OK. I told the waiter that the food was not good and he just looked at me and left.I cannot understand why the waiter did not seem to care about the comment.

I lived in Spain for several years and this restaurant brings back great memories. Excellent food, authentically Spanish, and great selection. Whether one wants to sample a variety of small plates (tapas) or have a full sized entree - Rincon Espanol has it all. Numerous daily specials are offered. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made to order. The paella is the best I've had. The soups are wonderful as are the croquetas. If you like seafood you'll love this place. The atmosphere reminds me of dining in small, quaint places off the beaten path in Madrid. The service was very attentive. The owner was delightful and treats his customers like close friends. A place to dine leisurely - enjoying great food and good company without the rush. I now make this a weekly dining experience.
